DIRECTIONS TO OUR RV CAMPGROUND
You must
be southbound on Highway #1 to safely enter Malahat Mountain Meadows.
When coming from Victoria campers should drive past the park approximately
1 kilometer then turn left at the South Shawnigan Lake exit, proceed
back onto the highway and head south back to the park entrance.
Directions from:
Vancouver and BC Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal
After leaving the ferry terminal continue southbound
on the #17 Highway to McKenzie Avenue. Exit the highway and head
west along McKenzie until you reach the #1 Trans Canada Highway.
Proceed northbound past Thetis Lake, continuing through Goldstream
Park and on to the Malahat Drive portion of the highway. As you
make your way along the Malahat watch for the Malahat Gas station
and Malahat Mountain Inn Restaurant. Malahat Mountain Meadows
is just past these on the left hand side but can only be accessed
southbound by continuing north and making a U-turn at the South
Shawnigan Lake turnoff.
Downtown Victoria and Seattle Ferry Terminal
The
quickest way out of the downtown core is to find your way to Douglas
Street and head north. Douglas runs north/south and is approximately
3 blocks from the waterfront. It is also labeled on many signs
as the #1 Trans Canada Highway. Proceed northbound past Thetis
Lake, continuing through Goldstream Park and on to the Malahat
Drive portion of the highway. As you make your way along the Malahat
watch for the Petro Canada station and Malahat Mountain Inn Restaurant.
Malahat Mountain Meadows is just past these on the left hand side
but can only be accessed southbound by continuing north and making
a U-turn at the South Shawnigan Lake turnoff.
North Island and BC Ferries Nanaimo Terminal
From
any location on the North or Central Island take the # 1 Trans
Canada Highway southbound through Ladysmith, Chemainus, Duncan
and Mill Bay and onto the Malahat Drive portion of the highway.

Shawnigan Lake turn off approximately 1 km and enter Malahat Mountain
Meadows on the right hand side of the road. |
